Hemp Seed Milk

Makes 4 cups

What you need:
1 cup hemp hearts (I use Manitoba Harvest)
4 cups pure water
2 pitted medjool date, soaked for 5-10 minutes in warm water to soften
1 tablespoon raw coconut butter or coconut oil
1  tablespoon non-GMO sunflower seed lecithin (liquid)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean powder
Pinch of himalayan salt
 

What to do:
-Add all of your ingredients to the high speed blender (I highly recommend aVitaMix if you are in need of a high speed blender).
- Blast on high for 30 to 60 seconds until creamy and emulsified
-Consume un-strained for the most nutritional benefit - strain using a nut milk bag or cheesecloth for a thinner milk
 

NOTES:
-Lasts 2-3 days refrigerated
