Creamy Matcha Oatmeal

Holisticole - Creamy Matcha Oats

Makes 1 serving


WHAT YOU NEED:
1/3 cup rolled oats
2 tbsp chia seeds
1-2 tbsp Bulletproof Collagen Powder* (optional)
2 tbsp flaked unsweetened coconut
1-2 tbsp raw cacao nibs
1 tbsp coconut oil, coconut butter or grass-fed butter
1/2 tsp organic matcha powder
1 cup unsweetened almond milk or filtered water, more as needed
1-2 tbsp raw honey, to taste
Pinch of Himalayan salt


Toppings:
Banana slices
Wild blueberries
Hemp hearts


WHAT TO DO:
-Add everything for the oatmeal (besides toppings and honey) to a small pot. Cook on medium-low, stirring frequently.
-Stew for 8-10 minutes until soft and creamy, adding more liquid as desired
-Remove from the heat before stirring in the raw honey, pour into your favourite breakfast bowl
-Top with desired toppings & enjoy!
