Strawberry Beet Smoothie

Holisticole - Strawberry Beet Smoothie

Makes 2 servings
 

WHAT YOU NEED:
1 cup frozen organic strawberries
1 small cooked beet*
1/2 ripe avocado
¼ cup old fashioned rolled oats
2 tablespoons chia seeds
1-2 tbsp raw honey or pure maple syrup (optional)
1 1/2 cups cold water or unsweetened cashew, hemp, almond or coconut milk
2 tsp extra-virgin organic coconut oil
2 tbsp Bulletproof Collagen Powder* (optional)

 

WHAT TO DO:
-Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend on high for around 60 seconds, adding more liquid as needed, until creamy and smooth.
-BE vibrant!
 

NOTES:
-Steam a bunch of beets in advance to have them on hand for your morning smoothie
-Add baby spinach or zucchini for bonus nutrition points
-Optionally add a plant-based protein or additional superfoods!
